We’re incredibly proud of the women from Yolde Pate community in Yola South LGA who participated in our “Strengthening Community Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change” project in Adamawa State. They’ve formed a strong women’s group, developed a clear vision, and are now officially registered as a cooperative! This is a testament to their resilience and determination to address climate change challenges and build a sustainable future for their communities.

✨ We have BIG news! ✨
We are thrilled to announce that Alimat Care Foundation with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Global Environment Facility Small Grant Program (GEF-SGP) is implementing a new project titled “Indigenous erosion control through climate-smart agricultural practice in Gella, Mubi South LGA in Gella, Mubi south LGA, Adamawa State.”
The project titled is a community-led intervention project aimed at achieving food security in Gella through reduced soil erosion, sustainable agriculture, and community-driven environmental initiatives.
A huge thank you to UNDP for believing in our vision for Gella Community and providing the funding support for its realization.
