MUHAMMAD SANI UMAR is a seasoned Medical Laboratory Scientist and biodiversity management and conservation expert with over 25years of professional private medical laboratory practice. He is a philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of his community. He is a member of such professional bodies as the Council of Medical Laboratory Sciences of Nigeria, Guild of Laboratory Directors (Private Labs), Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, and Nigeria Conservation Foundation. He has attended numerous medical health conferences and training workshops both at home and abroad

Board Secretary

ZAINAB MALI AMKPA is a passionate community volunteer with over 5 years of experience. She is a women’s and girls’ rights advocate who has contributed to several efforts to protect the rights of women and girls, advocate against gender-based violence, and seek justice for victims of SGBV. As a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, she has led many sensitizations and advocacy initiatives towards reducing maternal and child mortality, and improved knowledge of sexual and reproductive health rights of women and adolescent girls, especially in rural communities.

CHARITY OJOGBANE ANAJA is a gender Program Expert passionate about inclusion, especially in women and children’s developmental issues as well as good governance. She is committed to the building and implementation of procedures, policies, and programs that will ensure the smooth functioning as well as operational efficiency of organizations. She has contributed immensely to mainstreaming gender into Public Health, Women Empowerment and Child rights protection, Women’s Political Participation, Institutional Capacity Development, Democracy, and Governance. A graduate of Political Science from the University of Jos, Plateau State, and Charity have professional certifications in Political Leadership Academy, Media and Security, Health and Violence against the Girl Child, Role of Women in Nation Building, Women in Peace and Conflict Resolution, Leadership and Integrity Management, Peace Building and Conflict Management and Personal and Leadership efficiency. Her career spanned years of work experience with FAWE, CSACEFA, PLAN International Consortium, International Republican Institute, Women in Politics Forum, Women for Peace Initiative, Jakomvee Consulting, and Dorcas Tabitha Foundation.

KHALID IDRIS is a Program/Project Management Expert passionate about inclusion in Project Management, Program Implementation, and Operational duties. He is committed to implementing, developing policy, and delivering humanitarian services that will ensure the optimal operational efficiency of any organization. Mainly through Project Management in Public Health and Humanitarian services delivery by providing technical support for developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects.

He was able to generate success in every project completed by providing technical support towards the implementation of a comprehensive HIV prevention program, COVID-19 prevention Program, Comprehensive maternal, newborn, child health, family planning, and reproductive healthcare program following GON policies, guidelines, and internationally recognized best practices to enhance proper documentation of results achieved for donors and other relevant stakeholders for decision making.

Khalid possesses strong facilitation, public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills. A graduate of Information Communication Technology from the Modibo Adama University Yola, with a Masters of Technology in Information Management Technology, Khalid has professional certifications in Leadership and Management in Health at the University of Washington, Fundamentals of Global Health Research at the University of Washington, Program Report Writing at USAID-RISE Project and Project Manager at Jhpiego Nigeria.

HATONOPWA KENAN has over 5 years of experience in Gender Based Violence (GBV), Child Protection, HIV/AID outreach activities, and Sexual and Reproductive Health program management from project design, strategic vision, and data quality to monitoring and evaluation. Trained and Certified protection officer with focused expertise in engaging extensively with conflict-affected populations including Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC), Children Associated with Armed Groups (CAAGs), adolescents, women, stakeholders, and other Vulnerable Children (OVC). Known for excellent interpersonal skills, report generation, and IT skills with a clear ability to track project success while maintaining a highly motivated team.

Abdulazeez Gimba, is a seasoned Financial consultants who holds a B.Sc Accounting and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance both from Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola, Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from Gombe State University, Master of Social Science (M.sc) From Modibbo Adama University Yola. Abdulazeez Gimba is a member of various professional Bodies, Associate Member of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), member Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), Member Business Diplomacy and Financial Managements (MBDFM) Association of Chartered System Accountants (ACSA (United States)), Member Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (MFRCN), Association of Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). Certification in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)- Conversion and Implementation. He has expertise in Taxation, Accountancy and Auditing, Investigation, and management consultancy. management and consulting advisory services to a number of clients.

Dr. Jiddere Musa Kaibo is a Chief Lecturer, Dean School for Adult, Non-Formal, and Special Education (SANSE) with the Federal College of Education Yola. She is presently the National Chair of the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Nigeria since 2018-Date. FAWE is an International NGO established by all African Ministers of Education with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.  

She is also the Adamawa State Chair of High-Level Women Advocates (HiLWA). HiLWA is a UNICEF strategy put in place to advocate for issues on girls’ education which includes but is not limited to health, education- (access, retention, transition, completion, and quality), community mobilization, and sensitization.

Jiddere also has led and served as a member of 13 National and International research teams. She has extensive experience working with communities in Nigeria and with different Government and Non-Governmental Organizations in addition to her tenure working with government including, ADSUBEB, NCNE, UNICEF, DFID, UNFPA, Health Policy Research Group (HPRG), EDOREN and has attended several capacity building training on Health, Governance,  Role Modeling / Mentoring, Guidance and Counseling, Gender Sensitivity Behavior Modification, Adolescent Reproduction Health, Globalization and Promoting Business Ethics and Integrity, etc. Jiddere is computer literate and has an M.Ed. in Educational Administration and planning

Executive Director

Our management team is led by IBRAHIM BELLO who is the Executive Director responsible for the management of human and material resources towards the attainment of the organization’s mission and objectives. Ibrahim is a result-oriented project management specialist with advanced-level expertise in grants management. He has a hands-on experience in governance programming, citizen engagement, stakeholder management, and health system strengthening with considerable research, facilitation, and training skills. He has a proven ability to manage all aspects of project development and implementation including financial management, strategic planning, and advocacy. He has demonstrated leadership skills leveraged to drive teams toward success and sustain organizational goals. He is a self-motivated professional with proficiency in communications and the Microsoft Office suite.
