Empowering Girls,

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

Sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) are basic human rights that everyone should have access to, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. For girls, SRHR are essential for their physical and mental health, well-being, and empowerment.

However, girls often face barriers to accessing SRHR information and services. These barriers can include stigma and discrimination, lack of access to quality healthcare, and poverty. At Alimat Care Foundation our SRHR program interventions focuses on addressing these barriers, ensuring that girls have the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies and their futures. Our SHRH program is built on four key intervention areas, namely; Education & awareness, Skills development, Access to services and Advocacy & empowerment.
